  • The majority of the images that you see belong to their respective owners and may require licensing permissions and/or fees depending on the usage.

    We’d suggest reaching out directly to the holding archive, copyright owner, estate, or photographer to address your licensing needs. We can not issue a license nor can we provide you with permission to utilize the photographs for your projects.

  • Bumpkin Files will consider partnerships and collaborations on a case-by-case basis. Potential partners and collaborators should be familiar with our content, values and ethos before submitting proposals. Please read the About section and our Manifesto for information.

  • Yes! We offer service on a case-by-case basis.

  • Since BF is a self-funded, independent platform ran by one person, we currently have no open positions. Please be sure to also follow our social media where announcements about available positions may be made through our channels in future. Thank you for your interest!

  • We love connecting with others. Collaborate with us, share your ideas, come to our events, share your story however you see fit. If you are interested in becoming a contributor, click here!

  • Absolutely! We strive for this platform to be a reliable community resource where everyone is informed on everything Black and Black-Mixed affairs. Whether it’s art, culture, events, accomplishments or press releases, we want to keep the community in the loop! Please note that submission doesn’t guarantee promotion.
